2023 Martin J. Walsh Leadership in Recovery Award

This year’s award recipient is John McGahan, President of the Gavin Foundation.  John is being honored for his years of advocacy, and hard work establishing the Gavin Foundation as one of the premier service agencies in Massachusetts; supporting those who struggle with substance use and dependence. John’s ongoing advocacy has informed decision makers in state and federal government to support policies which increase knowledge and understanding of substance dependence and improve access to care. We are pleased to honor John with the Martin J. Walsh Leadership in Recovery Award.
