Group Therapy Schedule

ANGER MANAGEMENT Group

Women’S Group: Mondays 5:00-6:00 PM

Men’s Group: Wednesdays 5:00-6:00 PM

Anger management classes meet one hour per week for six week and each session is run by SBCC clinicians. The focus of these classes include the following topics:

·      Understanding anger

·      Defining healthy vs. unhealthy anger

·      Identifying personal anger triggers

·      Learning healthy alternatives for coping with anger and other emotions

*Documentation of your course completion can be provided upon request.

A: Participating in groups can be more rewarding than some people expect. For one thing, a group can provide support and perspective from peers. Hearing the stories of others may help alleviate feelings of isolation and confirm that you’re not alone in the struggle.
